After releasing their premium Groufie smartphone the F3 Plus, Oppo seems to be on a roll as they unveiled another Groufie expert smartphone last Thursday at the Conrad Hotel in Pasay City. Dubbed as the F3, yes they just removed the plus so you know by now that this one is a smaller and downgraded version of the latter product, this one targets the midrange market.
So what differentiate the Oppo F3 over the F3 Plus?
The F3 features a smaller 5.5 inches IPS LCD display, but with a higher pixel density of 401ppi. Another major change in the F3 is the chipset, the F3 uses a lower Mediatek MT6750T processor compared to the Snapdragon 653 of the F3 Plus.
The rear camera was also a bit downgraded in the F3 as it uses a 13 megapixel f.2/2 camera compared to the 16 megapixel camera of the F3 plus, the front facing camera were also a bit different as the F3 uses a lower sensor size.
The Battery was also downgraded from 4000 mAh down to 3200 mAh. One major difference is the price tag as the F3 is priced at Php 16999 compared to the Php 21999 of the F3 Plus.
In parts like the memory, both devices got 64GB of ROM and 4GB of RAM, corning gorilla glass protection, fingerprint scanner, and dual sim capable,
The event also became a show of power by the Chinese mobile brand as they paraded their A List celebrity endorsers led by Sarah Geronimo and Alden Richards.
