The FEU FERN Baby Tamaraws scores a come from behind 64-62 win over the Ateneo Blue Eaglets to secure the twice to beat advantage going to the final four.
The Baby Tams didn't started off well in this game as they trailed behind 6-20 against Ateneo, but slowly the Baby Tams were able to trim the lead of the Blue Eaglets down finishing the first half at 24-37.
The Baby Tams started to build their momentum up in the third period after outscoring the Blue Eaglets 21-12 to cut the deficit down to a 45-49 lead.
In the final period the Blue Eaglets tried to keep FEU away from them as they continue to control the pace of the game, but going to last few ticks of the game Rhon Abarrientos gave the lead for the first time to the Baby Tams at 63-62, LJ Gonzales sealed the victory by puttin in one charoty basket for FEU.
Jack Gloria led the charge for the Baby Tams with 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Rhon Abarrientos and Kenji Roman added 10 points each for FEU.
On the side of the Blue Eaglets, SJ Belangel led the flight with 23 points followed by Joaquin Manuel with 13 points, while Dave Ildefonso had 10 points and 11 rebounds for Ateneo.
The Baby Tams and Blue Eaglets will face each other on Thursday.
